At Lydia, boarding is an alternative to home. Our aim is to make boarding comfortable, warm and friendly. The students are accommodated in hostels, split into comfortable rooms that beat the sub-standard boarding facilities in other schools. Each hostel is under the supervision of a resident house parent, an adult, experienced in handling adolescents. He/she us ably assisted by the house-master / mistress.
STUDENTS` CARE AND UPBRINGING
House parents,academic staff and parents form a team that ensure proper upbringing of the children. The students are encouraged to develop self-confidence, imbibe good habits, live cordially with others.
In Lydia, we offer each of our boarders the chance and ability to live an independent life in a caring but not permissive environment. We are encouraged to develop a closer, stronger and more personal relationship with God through our well-motivated devotions .
